Description and Broker's comments:
2007 ISLAND PACKET 465 FOR SALE:
Capable and well-mannered Island Packet 465 (Bob Johnson design) which is in her original ownership.
She was built with a very complete specification for Mediterranean sailing and also with all the kit required for MCA compliance. The owner elected not to charter her and she has been lightly used. She has been professionally maintained and she gleams.
She is only being sold as her owners lack the time to use her.
The Island Packet 465 is a substantial and capable blue water cruising yacht that is easy to sail and with superb interior volume.
Owners Comments:
I had this boat built and wanted to be sure that she was fully equipped for Mediterranean sailing for my family and myself.
We coded her to MCA requirements but in the end we decided not to go the charter route – she is too nice a yacht!
With her smart blue livery and handmade joinery, she is a joy to be aboard. We have enjoyed her hugely although we have only used her locally. She is easy to manage shorthanded.
Superb comfortable and safe go anywhere boat which stays the course when the wind rises.
